At the Arts & Enrichment Academy we intend to change how participants choose to utilize leisure time. Through our influence, current and former participants will seek out opportunities for growth, including upper-level education and meaningful contributions to community. This is in large part due to our intense enrichment model, based on working with the whole student & community. We team with schools and community-based organizations to better utilize and contribute to community. The Arts & Enrichment Academy aims to be a nationwide program impacting families & changing culture for the better.
MISSION
VISION
SONGWRITERS WORKSHOP
The Arts & Enrichment Academy’s flagship program, Songwriters Workshop, uses project-based learning to introduce students to music, songwriting, recording, and performance through hands-on creative experience. Students collaborate to write and record original songs while building confidence, communication skills, teamwork, and creative expression in a supportive and engaging environment.
COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIPS
Beyond Songwriters Workshop, The Arts & Enrichment Academy offers a variety of project-based arts programs where students collaborate to create real finished works and performances. From filmmaking and theater production to comic book creation, script writing, dance, visual arts, and more, our programs encourage creativity, teamwork, confidence, and hands-on learning through immersive artistic experience.
The Arts & Enrichment Academy proudly collaborates with schools, nonprofit organizations, community leaders, and regional programs to expand access to arts education and creative enrichment opportunities for students of all abilities.
Partners and entities served include Harbor Regional Center, Long Beach Unified School District, the Long Beach Adult Community Transition (ACT) Program, Los Angeles County Creative Recovery, The Non-Profit Partnership, the IBM Foundation, local city programs, county leadership offices, and many other community-based organizations committed to empowering students through the arts.
